Arnold C. “Butch” Riddle, 77, of Bronson passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his home.

A funeral service will take place at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Mark Case of California Community Church officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm.

Arnold was born September 6, 1940 to Clive and Evelyn (Hedglein) Riddle in Spring Arbor. He was one of 18 children, 15 boys and 3 girls. Arnold was a life-long farmer in the Bronson area. On June 1, 1962 he married the love of his life Julia Czuberki. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2017.

Butch was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Arnold was very handy and liked working on machinery. He loved animals of all kinds, a trait he passed along to his children at an early age. Butch will be remembered for being a hardworking man who always put his family first.

Mr. Riddle is survived by his children Julianna Riddle of Orangevale, CA, A.J. Riddle of Bronson, and Christine Aguilar of Jackson; his son-in-law Ken Bradshaw of Santa Barbara, CA; his grandchildren Elizabeth, Dominique, Ignacio, Whitney, Jorden, Travis, Adam, Justin, and Eric. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 55 years, Julia; his daughter Debbie Bradshaw; and his son-in-law Raul Aguilar.
