John was born January 3, 1949 to Obert and Erma (Cornell) Burch in Coldwater. During retirement, John started working as a driver for the Amish traveling to many destinations. On November 11, 1972 he married the love of his life, Sue Williams in Niles.

John was a man with many interests. He enjoyed the outdoors going camping and hunting, especially deer hunting. John liked to spend time doing craft work making plastic canvas items. He also tinkered with woodworking, making toy boxes for the grand kids. John’s true joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. John is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sue Burch of Coldwater; his children Donna Kelley of Bronson, and John (Candace) Burch, Jr. of Coldwater; his siblings Barb Green of Quincy, Dan Burch of Coldwater, and Obert (Kathy) Burch of Royal Oak; his grandchildren Beth (Derik) Sims, Andrew (Clarissa) Kelley, Christine Kelley, Jonathon Burch, and Jacob Burch; three soon to be great grandchildren, that he was very excited and looking forward to meeting; nieces & nephews; and good friends Gus (Val) Charlier.
